Life isn't linear.
So why do we keep drawing it that way?

I'm Anubama. I build frameworks, businesses, books, and the occasional messy first draft, for women rewriting what a "normal" career is supposed to look like.

A career gap is not the same as a capability gap.

Women do not stop growing because a resume becomes complicated. Progress happens in caregiving, motherhood, burnout recovery, entrepreneurship, relocation, and every season no job title can fully explain.

one belief, many expressions

Here's everything I'm building right now.

This is the long-term home for my ideas, frameworks, businesses, writing, and the research holding it all together.

Arch Consulting

Corporate training, done properly.

My HRD Corp-registered consulting firm, running leadership and people development programmes out of Menara Atlas, Bangsar.

Swara Pertiwi

A movement for women, in progress.

A women-focused initiative I'm building the foundations for, one honest conversation at a time.

The RECLAIM Method™

A method, not a metaphor.

Reframe the gap. Extract hidden evidence. Clarify direction. Lead with value. Activate visibility. Integrate support. Move with a 30-day plan. Seven steps, one staircase back to yourself.

Doctoral research

A DBA, built in public.

My doctorate is not sitting quietly in a drawer. It's shaping every framework, worksheet, and programme I put out.

Writing

Two books, wildly different, both true.

One about careers that refuse to be linear. One about attention, distraction, and the self underneath it. Scroll on.

on my desk right now

Two books. One brain.

A career guide for women who never got the straight line, and a journal for anyone still figuring out what's underneath the noise.

Life Isn't Linear

So why do we expect careers to be? How women can reclaim confidence, evidence, and direction after a nonlinear path.

Career breaks. Pivots. Years that refuse to sit neatly on a resume. For so many women, "success" was never a straight line, yet we keep measuring ourselves against one. This book pushes back on that myth and hands you a grounded way home: read your own evidence, reclaim your direction, and stop apologising for a career that looks nothing like the plan.

I Know What Is Right, I Cannot Do It.

From Knowing to Becoming

Scribbled fragments from solo journeys, inner and outer, turned into a reckoning after one film, Waking Life, split me open between sleep and waking. What remained was a single question: if human potential is infinite, why do we settle for so little? A raw, unfolding record of the distractions that keep us from ourselves, and what's left once they fall away.

the person behind all of it

Research-backed. Practical. Occasionally still figuring it out, out loud.

My work sits at the intersection of women's development, career redesign, leadership, learning, and entrepreneurship, held together by a doctorate that keeps asking me to prove my thinking instead of just feeling it. Arch Consulting is one part of the portfolio. The larger project is the body of ideas, frameworks, and honest writing behind it.

I didn't wait for a straight line to start building. Arch Consulting, the Lab, the books, they all came from the same messy, non-linear place.
